Hello, I am turbo1.5 and noob to honda-tech.com but not new to Hondas. I am often on this site catching up on my favorite past time- old skool Hondas. Here's my set up...
Engine...bone stock d16y7 with a d16z6 throttle body and intake manifold, 450cc dsm black top injectors, d16z6 fuel rail, Delta 272 cam, ngk bkr73 plugs and 7mm wires, ported hf manifold, Autobionics stell hf/T3 adapter plate, ebay T3/To4e turbo, saab internal T3 wastegate, 2.5" downpipe, open exhaust, 2.5" charge pipes, ebay 28x6x3" intercooler, dsm bov all tuned with a chipped pm6 running BRE
Suspension...Old skool Tanabe Sustec Pro coilovers
Exterior...paint matched bumpers, Autobionics sheet metal front lip
Interior...ebay racing seat, Autogage tach, cheap *** boost gauge, ebay short shifter, full interior with some patch work
Wheels...14" DA rims with Falken Ziex 195/65R14 tires
Anyway, I don't have and quarter mile times or dyno numbers, but I have beaten known 14 second dsms. My shitty internal wastegate is having issues and only gives me 4 psi until 6000 rpm where boost spikes slowly to 8 psi by 7000 rpm.
Here's some pics, let know what you think!

Damn that's a lot of pics

Yeah... try not to let that happen. I let mines rub for awhile because I was too lazy to raise it back up, and now the tire ate up part of my fender and paint is chipping around the rim now...
oh and btw were is the dsm bov...... i would check that out before the wastegate the bov might be shitty and sticking open or something explaining the slow creep to 8psi if a wasttegate is bad it just wont work, or it will work to well if you no what i mean.

Thanks, the rubbing I don't mind too much because I really don't drive the car around much.
My bov is right behind my front license plate mounted after the intercooler.
I am going to get a external wastegate soon with a mbc so that should solve my boost issues.

the suspension setup on that car makes it slower in every regard.
corners, slower... launches, slower.
fix that stupid bullshit. you aren't lazy, you just like to take pics from certain angles and post that your **** is slammed, all that crap is stupid.
the car = pass.
the suspension setup and your backwards thoghts on it = fail.

dont look bad slammed, but would be little nicer in my opinion if the back was even with front etc...
as for the bov mounting.... it may be the loudest position for the bov, right after the intercooler or w.e. but its the most effective if closer to the tb, i think its supposed to be 5-7 in. from it to be tops... check on the boosted forum to find out for sure...
looks sick though.... good stuff...

Thanks for the good/bad comments, I appreciate it! To each his own. I like it slammed, this car is just a toy. I'm not trying to win any auto cross races or run a 10 in it just yet. When that time comes the suspension will be different, then perhaps my suspension height won't be failing in you eyes.
About the blow off valve, I have tried running with the bov close the throttle body but I did not like it. If you look at a lot of the spfwd cars they have their bov's on the hotside of the intercooler. I read about that on here actually!
The drag racing forum and slammed cars threads on this site have a bad influence on me lol
Thanks for looking!

Then slam it!
you're only half slammed.

the guys at full race put the bov on the intercooler. i'm not a turbo guy so i have no idea where is the best place, but the guys there that i've talked to seem to know what they are doing

hot side or cold side?
to me, hot side makes ZERO sense.

Engine bay looks ****, no wires showing, flat black piping, oem looking especially with the HF manifold, rockin the OG dx pass seat with some cool patches and a home brewed aluminum front air damn, **** is tastefully tacky. If you can stand the ride keep it slammed in the front, I'd invest in matching moldings down the side and black out the wheels.

Thanks, I plan on getting some new side moldings and maybe some new wheels. I built this car under a tight budget as I have about $1500 invested so far. Not bad

that would appear to be hot side. and after looking at it, it makes more sense then it did in my head.
I pictured the entire intercooler volume exiting when the BOV opened, but i'm an idiot

i think that gray on your car looks nice! if that intercooler was black or behind the bumper grill, would be a nice sleeper! haha i got the same hole on the dash and the same tach u got..
