Major D-series troubles
i was on the interstate when i noticed my temp gauge climbing, i knew that the coolant needed to be bled so i pulled over to do it and all of a sudden it died. when i restarted it it poured out thick white smoke and ran extremly rough, i gave it a couple revs (nothing over 2 grand) to keep it running. I let some of the air bubbles out shut the hood and went on my way. about 200 ft from my previous stop i look in my rear view and see a trail of that thick white smoke all the way from where i origionally started. the car wouldnt go over about 3500 rpm, and was verry slugish and kept dying whenever i pulled over. i know it was bad so please dont diss me but i had no other option but to drive it about another 4 miles with the temp almost all the way up..still pouring out smoke. the brakes felt like **** too. when i finally parked it at a friends house it smelled like a burnt mayonase/popcorn smell and is currently sitting at his house. could you please give me some ideas as to whats wrong with it and what i might of fucked up. i think a few rings might be fucked, maybe spun a bearing, warped the head, or shot the head gasket....and input would be gratly appreciated.
I'm not positive, but from what you have described, it sounds like the head gasket, rings, or valve seals. I'm pretty sure that white smoke is an indication that oil is getting into the combustion chamber some how. Those are the three things that keep oil outta there. If I were you, I would find out how much it would be to rebuild, an if it's less, just get a JDM long block. D series are cheap and if you screwed up your **** as bad as it sounds, I would just start fresh. Good luck though!

White smoke is water = Head gasket.
Blueish smoke is Oil = rings.
Blueish smoke on start up = valve seals.
If happened in a short amount of time it's a HG.
Rings and valve seals normally just don't go in a short period of time.
