Default Reccomended Mods?

Hi guys, I'm looking at putting a little money into my Accord after I fix the CV joint problem. I'm wondering what kind of performance mods I should do that are rather cheap and show a noticeable gain in powah. What about these cold air intakes? They look rather promising. What about a short shifter kit? No gain, but is it worth it? Anyway, just throw some ideas at me with aprox. prices too.

Thanks

Cold air intake = 1 whp. You're going to have to spend some $$$ to get any noticable improvement.

Most common and cheapest are going to be intake, header, and exhaust. If you want some real power tho, get ready to put out some $$$$.

smoke crack out of it.........look man cheap and power dont go in the same sentance. A 50 shot of nitrous would be the cheapest rout to go to get any significant gains. but I would wait and save money to do it right..via a> a motor swap or b> a FI application......OR buy one of those electric turbo chargers..they've been proven to add at least 20 horse

Where can I look at turbochargers, and would it be safe for a stock application? I don't want to burn my car out. What could I do with FI?

build your own turbo setup.. then again you need tools/knowledge.. my friends and i did mine for under $1200. imo boost is the best mod.
