Default Cylinder Head Gasket Kit

Hey I'm planning on purchasing a cylinder head gasket kit, since my motors gonna be out of my car already. So I'm installing an h22a1 in a 98 base model. Pretty common sense but i just wanna make sure. do i order a head gasket for a 5th gen or 4th gen?

Is 170 dollars about the right price for a kit? including valves, guides, seats, and all those goodies?

a little off topic but why would u put a h22a1 into a 98 base? didnt that come with an h22a4 and would require all sorts of odb conversions?

No all you have to do is switch the long blocks (obd2 timing gears and crank pink up) use everythingelse already there ( intake manifold, harness, distribtor, ect

Yeah I know, it's sorta going backwards but I hydrolocked my motor like 3 weeks ago (Yeah I was being a noob and careless...) so yeah, I picked up an h22a1 for $380 but the heads disassembled so I figure I might as well replace the the little goodies. <TABLE WIDTH="90%" CELLSPACING=0 CELLPADDING=0 ALIGN=CENTER><TR><TD>Quote, originally posted by md23vtec &raquo;</TD></TR><TR><TD CLASS="quote">

Hey md23vtec, do you think you can help give me some info on that? I looked on the other threads but they keep saying different things are needed and whatnot. Can you give me an AIM sn or IM me at sup3rd please?
