Default Confused about HID installation.

Hey,
I bought some HIDs for my 1998 prelude and this may seem stupid but i cant figure out what half the plugs are and none of them seem to match my stock headlight harness.

I tried to figure it out from my friends integra setup, but he didnt have some of the wires i have.

I took some pictures and can take some more if needed.

Here is what the headlight section of the harness looks like

I have no clue what these two wires plug into to

and these wires i have no clue where they go either.. (the small black and white ones)

note that none of the plugs they gave me fit my headlight harness.. any help would be great...

thanks.

when i installed my hid's there are two componets, the ballast resistors and the bulbs. the resistor has two power wires that go to the two wires originally going to your headlight bulbs, then there are two wires going from the ballast resistors to the bulbs, it should only be 4 wires total, power+ ground- and the two wires going between the bulb and ball ballast resistors, note my kit had a ballast resistor for each bulb, and btw you can just chop your plug off of your orginal headlights, all you need is the wires, unless you want to keep it all intact and orginal.

Here i go,,,,
-The ballast has a 2 sockets..one for going in and the other one for going out
-Bulb wires go to the ballast...
-Ballast wires go to ground(black wire) and a power wire (red wire)go to your headlight socket...dont worry if any sparks come out,it wont harm u since the car produces 12V..good luck ill try to post pics k

HID plug-and-play FTL.

Retrofit FTW.

You and the oncomming traffic will hate your hid's system, just a warning.

Did you buy this kit from Operatic? The flat head ones go into the stock headlight harness.

ummm, yes the car only produces 12 volts, but the ballast for the HID's puts out a couple of thousand volts ...Ever see a car that came with HID's? They are marked HIGH VOLTAGE on the headlight. Wont kill you but would probably give you a numb arm for a while.
