DC2 ITR piping w/ the DC5 muffler custom welded onto the DC2 ITR rear section piping should work.

The most obvious solution if you want a "Type-R" exhaust on your DC2 would be to install an ITR exhaust from, well, a DC2.

well the jdm itr dc2 exhaust isnt valved, the itr dc5 is valved.

 

Why do you want the DC5 exhaust anyways?

 

i just put an itr exhaust on my gsr tonight, beautiful.

 

Just do custom piping with a DC5 ITR muffler

i have a type s muffler on my stock rs exhaust
just take it to an exhaust shop they can install it for you
all they do is cut off the pipe from the muffler and weld a new piece on that has the correct bends to match up with your exhaust.

 

Like it was said you can get it welded onto the DC piping. I have a friend that his brother was running a Type-S muffler on his EJ. I was thinking of running the Type-S muffler also because I like the look but I think I'm just going all Type-R DC2.
