well the jdm itr dc2 exhaust isnt valved, the itr dc5 is valved.

i have a type s muffler on my stock rs exhaust
just take it to an exhaust shop they can install it for you
all they do is cut off the pipe from the muffler and weld a new piece on that has the correct bends to match up with your exhaust.

Like it was said you can get it welded onto the DC piping. I have a friend that his brother was running a Type-S muffler on his EJ. I was thinking of running the Type-S muffler also because I like the look but I think I'm just going all Type-R DC2.
