i was just thinking.

the front ends are obviously different between the 2 cars. the 01-03 coupe and 04-05 coupe.

now. if someone with an 01-03 wanted to have 04-05 headlights, they'd have to get a new bumper and new front fenders correct? so that means the hood dimensions are shared right? so could i use a cf hood from an 01-03 on my 04-05? please correct me if im wrong

Different headlights = different hood. They don't look the same and the part numbers are different.

 

i understand what you're saying, i think. yes if you convert your whole front end to whichever you can use the same for front end stuff of the same years.

 

just buy the CF hood for the year of your car....

 

Front body parts that are not similar between 2001-2003 model years and 2004-2005 model years:

1. Headlights
2. Front Bumper
3. Front Fenders
4. Grille
5. Hood

In order to use a different model year part, you'd have to either modify it, or change out the 5 parts listed above.
