home garage paintjob
I have a shop at my house and have an area I *could* paint my car in, i just dont know if its safe/worth the work. I've painted stuff like fender flares for a jeep and small items, I have the setup to do it all as far as the guns and everything. Do you just get a mask and spray away? In the past I sprayed the floor with water, turned the exhaust fan on and cracked the garage door open..
sorry about my post, i realize now it doesnt make much sense.
I am only asking about spraying a car in a garage instead of a booth, and the question is mostly in regards to my personal saftey with the new paints, is a resperator enough?

well you need alot of air movement and to be more safe i would have the garage door wide open, isocyanates are in alot of the primers and clears and stuff and they can be deadly, they are attracted to moisture, (hands, eyes, etc) so where a full face respirator and gloves.
