Be polite and don't type in all caps. It's annoying and no one will want to help you.

Top hat bolts are only torqued to like 34 ft/lbs or some near number. Your description is pretty vague. Stretching metal? Could it be a rubber squeak?

What does it sound like if only one tire goes over a speed bump compared to both? Which bushings/rubber parts did you mess with during the install?

ur car will never be the same after u lower it with just springs.... squeeks noises are gonna happen... u would have to get full suspension to solve the problem because when u just slap in springs onto the stock sturts they don't match up because they where never made to have it in there and no aftermarket spring will ever fit as perfect as a oem spring from the factory... full sturt and spring suspension are made to work together in sence no odd sounds....

I had a 98 prelude sh and installed tien s-tech springs. no noise no problems,
also installed some lowering springs on my old 93 accord and never had any squeek noises. alos on my old 03 s2k i had stock springs with koni yellow adjustble. shocks. no noises either. so this rsx metal stretching noise si weird. the noise only occures when l/r or r/r is up higher than the other.

I'd use white lithium for the lack of a better lube.

i have eibach sportlines and i don't have any noises

did you put those rubber things on the springs itself?
when does it make the noise?
over bumps and such?

good call, no the clear rubber pieces were not on the springs like all the others, but last night i tore the back end apart, lubed the upper side of the area of the strut that contacts the body and all the squeek went away, yeah! so anyone with that squeek use silicone lube, spray all over the top mount area, bolts, rubber, all of it and run it over an angled drive way a couple times. good to go, one more mystery solved
