Default what to get....

well, this fall when everyone is going to be selling their bikes what do you think i should get, its going to be my first street bike (i have raced motocross for over 10 years) and then next summer i am going to sell my eclipse and buy a civic hatch and ride the bike while i put a H22 in it.... my first choice is the R6... but its the only one i have ridden so far, what years do you suggest, i want a nearly new one.. but i dont have mad cash... so how far back could i go and still have a really nice ridding bike? like mid 90's?

get a don't get an r6 or a 6r they are both supposed to come out with new versions this fall which would drop resale value right after you got them. If you are wanting a good "cool" bike get a honda f4/f4i or a 2001gsxr600 they are the same body style as the new ones and has more performance than you will be able to use for a few thousand miles. If price is an extremely limiting factor you can go with a 96+ f3 or gsxr600 don't get any pre 98 kawasaki's or yamaha's because they are lacking in comparison
