Take the hose off the inlet of the turbo to check the shaft play there should be a little but the wheel should not rub the comp cover. Also look for scuff marks.

cool thx, imma check that out tomorrow, but what do u mean shaft play (yea not that smart with car stuff...) and is it anything serious or is it easy to fix?
shaft play is when the shaft has out of tolerance and unwanted movement in any direction... forward, back, or side to side.
shaft movement will result in the compressor/ turbine wheels touching the housing as indicated above... which will make a very loud high pitch noise that sounds like your turbo is constantly "spooling" whenever your in boost or coming into boost.
it is semi serious... and requires usually a new turbo or a rebuild of your existing unit (which honestly it is probably not worth, it is probably cheaper to replace it if one of the wheels touched the housing).
