harnesses and harness bar question???
ok looking to get a set of harnesses and a harness bar for my dc2 but im not really sure how you go about installing the harnesses on the bar. lol i know it sound dumb but can somone explain and post a pic of how and where u exactly bolt them in. thanks
No need to bump, this is a very well run forum so be patient.
Running harnesses without rollover protection is a big safety issue. However, it is better to run just a harness bar vs. nothing and run the risk of spinal compression. This is a question that would better be addressed in the Road Race Forum just fyi.
I personally have an AutoPower 4pt rollbar and attach the harnesses to the rollbar. Let me search for pictures and instructions.

harness bar;
I run this one.... https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=1592059 (scroll down a little)
I had a more difficult time figuring out how to loop the harness around the bar than installing the bar.
if you'd like pictures of an install... sparco's instructions... http://www.sparcousa.com/resourceFiles/47.pdf
not exactly the same as the bar I have, but it's very close.
harness;
it all depends on which one you buy.
I have the Schroth Profi II ASM FE. The instructions that came with it are detailed to the point of confusing when you first read them. But when you step though it yourself it all makes sense.

Evasive is the only place I'v found. For $400 though, you can get a an Autopower for that amount.

I thought you did. I wasn't sure if you wanted it for a friend, another car, etc. I'm not sure how I would like/handle a 6pt for driving on the street. Its really your car. Is this 6pt the setup you have always had?
