Default **3 B-series * 2 DX Chassis * 1 Garage** Let The Builds Begin!

I bought this 89 hatch last Oct. with a turbo LS swap in it
It came with Si front & rear seats, Si gauge cluster, Thermal Exhaust, coilovers, shocks, 93 GSR wheels(that I sold) and a few other goodies I forgot about.
I took the turbo kit off, sold the car with the turbo kit for $2000
2 days later the kid I sold it to spun a bearing and traded me the car back for my Zex nitrous kit.
I took the motor out and sold the chassis once again to my friend for $300
It sat in his garage for 1 year, he broke both CV joints, and started sanding some of the car down..never paid me so I'm taking the car back Putting one of my motors in it, doing some body work, and I plan to strip the interior and make it a budgeted weekend streetable drag car.

How it sits now:

My other hatch is a 1991 DX (update soon)

BTW; my Engines consist of a B16a2 Block, a B17a1 Block , and a B18a Swap!!

I will be hauling the 89 hatch to my garage this weekend, I will update more then!

Sorry its been so long for an update, but I'll explain alittle about my builds and post up a pic of 1 of my intercoolers and b17a1 crank.

The cylinders on the b17 were all rusty since it sat in a car with no head and no hood for 2 years, but there was still oil in the pan so the crank was still safe.
Plan to put the b17 crank in my 00 si b16a2 block.

I traded parts with my friends today a bunch of new parts! list as fallows:

1990 CRX DX Chassis - Traded for my stock b16 crank + $150 ($75 this week $75 next week)

1 Cracked b20 block, very clean but cracked cylider walls (probably gonna try to sell or save if I ever want to sleeve it) (PM if interested in buying it)
1 b20 block with stock pistons, stock rods (spun bearing)
1 Polished b20 Crank
1 b20 Crank that spun a bearing
2 b20 oil pumps
2 b20 oil pans
1 b20 head
Garrett .63 exhaust housing .57 cold side
B18a/B20 Eagle rods with 1000 miles on
Arias 10.5:1 pistons with like 1000 miles on
2 Intercoolers 1 Revhard brand
Wastegate
Ebay brand .03 exhaust housing .60 cold side
Plus somemore things I forgot about for trade of my 96-00 ek 4 Point lower strut bar and $1000, tell me that aint a deal!!

anyway, as far as the hatch I have decided to roller paint it. I've been reading alot of write ups on it and wet sanding, I think it will turn out alright for just a cheap budgeted drag car..
I got it to my garage and started wire wheeling some of the paint and bondo.. it really doesnt look to bad, there is 5 layers of paint on this thing! its so thick I think someone tryed bondoing some scratches in the thick paint, so after I wire wheeled it down to stock primer and its comming out pretty smooth rust and bondo free.. I only got one 1/4 pannel done so theres a chance it could still get messy..
I got the engine bay all flat black now to, and starting to fix some of my wiring, thinkin about maybe doin a little wire tuck to try and make this clean..

I'll update tomorow night hopefully with more pics

anyway heres a pic of the revhard and b17 crank

Started stripping the interior today and took some pics:

The driverside door is pretty screwed up, but I'll be using on from my parts car that is almost mint

starting to look pretty empty..

I got this flywheel donated to me since it has sorta screwed up holes.. I still need to test it to se how bad it is or how much it will cost me to get it fixed

also started cutting my bumper for my intercooler

here is a quick pick of the suspension thats in the car now

here is 1 of the b20 blocks I got - note the circled HMO on the right side.. is that an Hmotors stamp?
