Default lma question

i searched it and didnt find nething on it, but i want to put prelude h22 lmas into my gsr head, and my question is what size shim do i have to use? some say .050, n some say .030. jus want to do it right the first time. i got ctr cams goin into a 450 plus whp teg with super teck valve springs n retainers. what about retainers? titanium? any help will be greatly appreciated!

lma= lost motion assembly

LLAMAS?? i thought cars were measured in horsepower, not llama power...

why don't you talk to the people who built your engine, as i doubt you put together a "450whp" motor by yourself. they should recommend you the best valvetrain/cams for your setup

let's see the dyno results of your motor by the way

turn a wrenche is different then knowing the specs and tolerances of building a motor....precision is key there

is 450whp your goal?

EDIT: by the way, yes i knew it was Lost Motion Assembly...and i'm glad you picked up on my sarcasm

The information I've read indicates a .040" desired thickness for the shims.
