Default brake light circuit/horn, burnt up, help please.

My car has been running fine on 8 lbs. of boost since its fresh build no problems just a axle. Yesterday tail lights went out, put a new 20amp fuse in it, left my nieghborhood didnt get out to the entrance and my dash had smoke coming from under it, car sputtered then turnt off. I killed the power (batt, and ignition) asap. I found a set of about four wires burnt up, and another fuse blow by the brake light the fuse up two from the brake light fuse, going close to the motor ya know. What do i do to fix my car, or where do i start or is it fixable. or worth the fix. Granted its a sohc turbo but still. Waste my time fixing it or sell it? please help anyone.

I would start out by replacing the wires that are burnt and before putting a fuse in try and find out where the wires that are grounded out are. you can put a fuse in there to help but dont put in a 20 amp fuse do something smaller lie a 5 or so. Wiring problems are a pain it will be fun.

Dont put a higher fuse in there, if you did thats why you burned wires. to much current flowing. by the sounds of it you might have a grounding issue.
