Cut the webbing from under the hood where it's touching. Cheapest/easiest solution. That's odd tho. HASport usually makes there kits to fit under the hood. Your car ever been in a front end accident?

PS: Congrats on the swap.

Buying washers and bolts is cheaper than turning on a mini-grinder?

you could get a SIR style hood. or cut Exo-skeleton of the hood. Take some clay and put it on top of valve cover then close hood and see where clay sticks. Thats where you cut.

cut the webbing where it's hitting your valve cover, or use spacers, or get a siR style hood. Most people cut out webbing and keep stock hood.

If you autox or road race like some of us, use the washers. This also help cool down the engine bay
