Default B18C oil leak

hey guys. new to forum. my 1994 dc2 has an oil leak. im not sure what the source is, could be a seal or something more serious. please help haha!

the thing you have circled is the headgasket, is it only leaking there? it might be coming from the more likely source of the cam seal, which is right behind the vtec solenoid

^^^yep the cam seal (cam plug). IT drools down the head and collects there on the edge of the headgasket. You should also have a bit on where the tranny case meets the block.

dude, that's nothing... compared to my daily driver. man, i should consider fixing mine. just keep adding more oil when it goes low

lol yea thats what im talking about!

anyway are you sure its not coming down the side of the head? wipe **** up and watch it closely. you should be able to gauge the problem a little better.

it is also very likely coming from the distributor o ring they will leak oil and it will travel across the head to their

its gotta be coming from the head gasket, theres no other signs in the pic of it leaking from anywhere else. let me know....

its probably not the head gasket otherwise he would have far more problems than just a minor leak (smoking, oil in coolant)

i have a pretty similar leak on my motor trying to figure what it is, but it just makes me mad cause makes the motor look dirty i really dont lose any oil tought.

i would clean it up and try to pin point the problem, thats what im doing!

it could be any one of the three: cam plug, vtec solinoid gasket, or distributor o-ring. I had a problem like that and changed my vtec solinoid gasket and distributor o-ring and it fixed the problem. Just look at it closly to figure it out.
