^^^^ Hit the nail on the head. (no, not
)
IMO, if they're not carbon fiber, they're not worth the spoon name. I've got some "spoom" mirrors, and the visibility isn't very good until you reset the mirrors. After that, it's gravy. They're light, they're sleek (compared to the mickey mouse ears my car had), and they don't cost a **** ton of money, because mirrors aren't supposed to. (unless you're a hardcore JDMer)
If you're interested in saving some money for something that will not likely go wrong as a result of saving said money, I say just get the spoom mirrors, mod them to your personal preference for better visibility, and enjoy.

But what's it do? Lol, just keep in mind that if you really wanted Spoon mirrors for the Spoon bling, you should just look into getting the CF ones. Just my $.02, I don't want to be one of "those" guys that imposes their will on people through H-T.

thanks alot, for all the responses, i planned on getting the non CF ones because i'm going to paint match them regaurdless. it sounds like the legit spoon ones are better quality of course. i gues im just going for the bling factor. :/
^that's what i'm doing, painting the base and leaving the mirror part flat black, thats the reason i didn't go with the spoon's... many people go for it just for the CF, up to you, i've grown out of the "CF" stage...

because you have a white ek, it'll still look good if you leave it CF. have you seen the spoon ek? looks good with black mirrors.
i have a set of vision mc's. vision makes the spoon mirrors, so it's the same thing. blue tinted glass and quality is nice. i got the CF ones, but i was gonna paint over it anyway. since i sold my car, i can't tell you how it is in action though
i haven't used them, i'm probably just gonna sell them off if i don't get another car
