Not sure what that means but cleaner is better IMO and you dont see too many shaved cars. Shaved is always better, always, in anything.
You can add them back on if you have to have them, just drill it out, protect the edges from rust with paint or sealer, and stick the moldings on there after careful measurements. I'd just leave it shaved though. Never understood why people thought that looked good.

you are not making any sense.
the quarter panel is separate from the moldings.
Theres a molding line that goes from fender, door, to the piece near quarter panel
Its a common thing for Quarter panels to be bondo'd up in rust areas (miami is definitely not)

just grind out the bondo or sand it out
i know someone that heated the bondo up and then scraped it off too lol
i also agree that cars look better with the moldings lol

Grind it off. Sometimes it's sheet metal welded on and a bit of bondo to even it out. You can pick up a scotch-brite rust and paint remover disk from your local automotive store. It looks like black harden sponge. We used this on a car we fully repainted and wanted remove all of the bondo repairs back to the metal.

youre wasting your money doing that, just leave it like it is..why molest it even more?

Its going be some money replace it. Just grind the bondo off.
But for the people who ask why he doesn't like shaved? Well I heard both sides, some like the original lines of the body of a car while others like the clean plain look when you shave everything.
