What the hell is in this guy's genes...

He did 37s at Valencia... Stoner's FP1 best time was 33.

Did Stonehead get a chance to take his F1 car for a spin?

He was probably too busy porkin' his 18 year old wife.

Schuy doesn't cover his brakes either!

it's impressive no doubt, but lets see him do that close of a time a couple years ago when gp machines didnt have the traction control they do now

after f1 i'm sure the GP speed still feels slow, especially in the turns!

Rossi was pullin some good times in the ferrari f1 car.... I think those who race at that level can handle many different machines and perform well

Pretty cool seeing Schumacher on a bike

Rossi running good times in an F1 car is a lot less impressive than Schu doing it on a bike. There is a much steeper learning curve and more skill involved.

I'd bet any of the motoGP riders could hop in an F1 car and run good times. F1 drivers on GP bikes... not so much.

have you seen what an F1 driver goes through to drive those things, let alone to the limits?

I agree somewhat, but feel the top racers in F1 and other forms of road racing have the skills required to go fast, with 2 wheels or 4. Obviously any driver/rider won't perform well at first, but once acclimated to the certain machine the instincts take over and the lap times go down. But I'm not a racer, just a guy with an opinion.

I vote for a new reality show that places GP riders into F1 cars and F1 drivers onto GP bikes

I must admit I didn't watch that whole vidoe, but it was just about physical conditioning from what I gathered. GP riders are probably in the same shape and go through the same conditioning, but that's beside my point. All things being equal, an F1 car is easier to go fast in than an GP bike. "If you can ride a bike you can drive a car." Forget who said it, but it was a former GP rider currently competing in JGTC.

Wasn't there a similar bike v car incident a few years ago? I remember one F1 competitor was involved, talking **** about bikes, and Rossi stepped up and said he'd race the guy...

****. I think I'm getting old...

Everybody assumes schumacher just hopped onto the bike.
He was getting training from a former racer as well as he probably has been riding bikes for a while now.

Schumi is a really big bike enthusiast. He's got bikes in storage all over the world so that he can ride when he's traveling.

He did 37's? Where does it say that? Because I think Mamola would be pushing 37's imho.

Well.. I'm not one to talk **** but a certain someone comes into 990cc motogp his rookie year, bins it at every bend, and manages 8th in points. Then jumps onto a electronically nannied 800cc his sophomore year and wins the title? o_O The same someone that had his *** handed to him over and over again on 250's by a certain shorty that barely got second in points this year, who coincidently managed 3 positions better on a 990 last year. Either this new champ was sandbagging like a bitch last year or his machine is as easy to ride as a beach cruiser on PCH. I say the latter. 80% rider 20% bike obviously isn't so for this aussey. It's 80% bike imo. At least the Kentuck won his championship on a evenly matched machine. And people said even he didn't really give us a feeling of a true champ because his lack of significant wins. Rather other people's misfortunes. All I can say is that on the 990, there were plenty of people that could fight for the win.
