99' Civic Custom Headlight Woes
I drive a '99 Civic LX sedan, totally stock except for custom headlights that the previous owner installed. Unfortunately, one of my headlight bulbs is dead, and it seems these custom headlights are not so easily replaced. The bulb appears to be soldered and screwed in rather than just fitted like a stock headlight.
EDIT: Well I feel stupid, messed with it a bit more and got the bulb out so that wasn't too tough.
But apparently these headlights are made by Kasei, and the bulb is an X1-H3 55W. The only store I can find stocking them is this one http://www.xanatosautomotive.c....html . Which doesn't help much at all.
Anyone know where these bulbs are available?
Thanks for any help

X1-H3 55w bulbs are just normal H3's. They are available at every autoparts store, hardware store, or Wal-Mart.
The headlights you have that are "custom" are most likely just crappy ebay projector housings. Just buy some stock headlights locally.

Ah okay that is exactly what I wanted to hear. Now that I think about it it makes total sense that I don't actually need the Kaseis
Ah now I feel like a noob, but
thanks for the help
