Default After market exhaust

I got a exhaust system and was wondering about the catalytic converter! the two screws with the springs on it, the ones that connect the catalytic converter to the header, hod you take them off I dont want to break anything? thanks

all you do is unbolt them like any other bolt and they will pop loose. when you put them back in you will need something to compress the spring so you can put the nut on the bolt.

im goint to take them off to put the exhaust on, its easier for me taking it off and then connecting it to the new exhaust and putting it back on

I used the C clamp style vice grips on the edges and work nicely

but how do you get the bolt through the spring if the vise grips are compressing it?

LOL.... ok
u put the bolt in the spring, put the vice grip on the edge of the spring and the edge of the bolt and squeeze it to gether... just make sure the bolt can pass by the vice grips when compressed, but the bolt through the holes, and put the nut on.
