Default buddy club exhaust

My friend got his BUDDY CLUB SPEC 3 exhaust in today...The only thing is its not like anyother exhaust I have seen it has spring connectors..and the exhuats just slides over top of the other pie and I was wondering even with teh spring connectors on will it cause a exhaust leak. The only part that has a flange is where it connects to the CAT. Anyway if someone has this exhaust for a 92-95 civic hatchback give me some feedback so I can give it to him and any answers yo have about the spring connectors.

i've got the spec III for an EK hatch. I love the spring design. Except that the springs everynow and then do rattle. but no exhaust leaks!!! Those springs were a pain in the *** to get on there!! Have fun with that exhaust its bad ***!! Loud as hell though!!

He is not going to put it on his car anytime soon. He is waiting for the motor to be put in which should be done around the middle of MARCH. When its on though I will put a sound clip on here for everyone. He said hes not going to put it on now cause he does not want to have anyone try to race him cause he has a exhaust on his car cause its still a VX and also doesnt want to cause the SPEC 3 any shame buy putting it on a VX motor.

This is why he drives the civic now. The SUPRA was pushing 450 whp. It was hit by a tractor trailer at 50mph.

They don't make Spec III for 92-95 civic, but the mechanic at the shop that I work at has a Spec III for EK9 n his EG, all he had to do was to shorten the B pipe to get it to fit. The system is really nice, it weight only 14lb, thats like half of what the stock or most aftermarket exhaust's weight.

It comes with one hanger...but its not on the muffler its back further. There is a rineg it come with that goes aeound the muffler...and you weld hanges onto the ring insted of the muffler itsself. He paid $625 i think shipped. As for the clearance and the sound we wont find that out untl the middle or end of march thats when the motor goes in.

Your distrubtor doesnt know what he is talking about. There is the SPEC 3 pics right there and front of you. Hey who knows though we wont put the exhaust on till the middle of march so it might not fit and we dot know it. What I do know is we specified a 92-95 civic hatchback. I forgot where he got it from...I will ask him tonight and post the link to the site.
