Default Is this a good buy for a project bike?

Ok so im looking for a project bike and i want to know if you guys think this is a good project bike and if it is worth getting and what you would pay for it. here is the ad for the bike.

I have my 2000 Suzuki SV650 for sale. 4,000 miles on the engine and the frame isn't bent, but it needs a new front end (forks and wheel) because someone hit it while it was parked. I'm asking for $1000 OBO. It's worth more, but I need to get rid of it. So make an offer.

awesome project bike as long as it runs well. Just replace the front end with a GSXR one and you're on your way.!!!

Yea I say make an offer on that and dump about another grand into it, with a gsxr front end and upgrade the rear shock. Would make a very nice bike for ~2k, assuming the rest of the bike is sound

Don't buy it. It's too much of a hassle for you.

BTW, where is this ad posted?

Looks like a good deal, but what a hit it must've taken. The front tire even came off the wheel.

Think you could score a GSXR front end AND an Ohlins/Penske rear shock for a grand? Tell me where you buy parts
