I have a 89 hatch with a b16 swap. My car idles up and down everytime i start it and continues till its warmed up. Now i've searched the forums on here and read that there is a screw that comes loose in the IACV. I was just wanting to know where it was and do i need to screw it all the way in?thanks much
its not the IACV that has a screw its the FITV, Fast Idle Thermal Valve. its right on the bottom of the throttle buddy, take off just the back plate of it with 2 8mm bolts, then screw the big cap in all the way with a flat head and then put the plate back on. your done!
takes literally 20 minutes at the longest

this is incorrect. it may take a little longer to do but try to find out where your car is supposed to idle when cold and adjust the fitv to the optimum point. Do Not screw it in all the way, it might cause you car to bog out on start up when warm and it may also give you serveral false CEL's <---(speaking from experience.) i screwd mine in all the way and it literally threw 4 Cel's, then i adjusted the screw out about half way and it was perfect. by the way, just type FITV in the search and you'll find some really good write up's with pictures on how to remove it.

Two of those write-ups were done by me I know for a fact. But I PM'd you everything you need to know any more problems just call me.
