Default intake manifold

i have an ls-v stroked, valvetrain, cams, itr header, cat back. Is it worth changing my stock b16 intake manifold. or is it just going to be a big waste of money... i know a buddy has a gsr intake manifold i can get for hella cheap but if im right that would not bolt up to a b16 head? so what im asking is, is it worth getting a intake manifold. if so what kind???

GSR mani will not fit a b16 head. diff bolt pattern. get a skunk 2. u will notice gains. my buddy had one on an otherwise stock ls and it made an improvement in power in the top end.

no, no dyno sheet. But when ur top speed increases you obviously have to be making more power.

could just bore your tb and match your stock manifold.

So you mean with the extra 3whp the IM provided, the car was that much faster?

Go get a Professional Products part number 59001 or if you want it polished 59000. I have the 59000. It is a nice upgrade and doesn't cost much. It is bascially a skunk2 manifold without paying the skunk2 price.

You can get them from O'reillys for right around $200 or a little under. It's a step up from the Jdm Type-R header.

You would have to click the tab that says where to buy. Or go to a Napa or O'riellys store.

Not a problem man, it's what I have on my b16, and there was a local shop drag car that ran it.

u'd be surprised we gained an extra 20-30 km/h before it topped out.

there was a post on here that compared the skunk 2 pro mani with a blox one. Pretty significant differences i would say. U lose quality for the price.
