so, lately my handbrake light has been staying on. how can i fix this? is there a sensor somewhere? or what causes it to stay on?

 

the light on the dash will also come on if the fluid is low in the master cylinder. There is a sensor there for that make sure that its plugged up.

went out and checked it. man was it empty. thanx again.

 

Did you figure out why? There's a reason brake fluid disappears.

 

check around the master cylinder and all of the callipers on the car and see if any are wet.

yeah seriously. dont just fill it up and ignore!

find out if theres a leak. check pad thicknesses too.

theres a reason why its so important honda put a light in the dash.

 

i am going to check it tonight. i know it just doesnt disappear.
