Default passenger door falls

wierd probelm here. one day me and my boy were phucking around while he had my passenger door open, so i reverse( lets not get into detail why i did) and my door caught on the sidewalk. the door ended up being pushed foward and the door stopper broke because the door opended way out. so i took it to a body shop and they set the door in its proper place. but now when i open the door it falls a little bit. and when i close it it smacks the hinge a little bit before it closes. how the expletive can i fix this?

if it falls when you open it you need to move the door catch down

You might have broken off one of the door hinge bolts. Mines like that now; and i either need a new door (impossible to find a good one) or weld the hinge to the door.

if the one of the three screws on the door arent broken then you can move your door catch down a lil to compensate

Don't move the door catch. The door catch is in the right spot. Something else is messed up. Most likely the hing is bent or out of place. Take it back to the body shop that fixed it and tell them your problem.

They did not adjust the door properly. It falls cause the hinges are not in the right spot. If they are new hinges then they can not be worn out or busted. It can only be that the hinges are not in the right spot. And that is why the door is falling.
What is happening to your door is called ridding up on the striker. They have to loosen the top hinge and pick the door up and tighten the top hinge. Then check to see if they got it in the right spot. Not a hard job. You don't even have to take the fender off. Just move the fender liner.
