I got into an argument with one of my boys the other day about the type SH prelude. He claims that a stock SH will run 14.7s all day in the 1/4mile. I said that they would not. If anyone out there has run a 14.7 in a bone stock SH, let me know and put an end to this argument. If not, let me know what your times were like, thanks.

There was a similar post like a month ago. And the link to the site had a whole list of 1/4times for some guy with a stock 98 195hp Red SH, and he managed to run high 14s, and even a 14.7, but with a share of 15s too.

But that's only one guy and one car.

 

I know of only one person who ever managed a 14.7 in a stock SH, and he did not run that consistently - Sev (somewhere in Canada) did it, but his usual times were 14.8x-15.1x if I recall correctly.

but don't expect to run across it on the street.

I, however, ran many 14.70's in my 4th gen.
