rear lip for crx?
well ive searched on here and came up with nothing. i want a rear lip for my crx but i dont want an aftermarket one. i want soemthing thats farly stock looking. does anyone kno of anything that will fit the crx's rear bumper. i have the vw lip on the front now and i need somethin to make the back of the car look level with that one. any help would be appreciated. thanks Andy
I'm not sure about the dimensions on the crx's rear bumper but ive heard of people using DA integra lip's on Hatch rear bumpers w/ minor modification. Might work for the crx, dont hold me to it though.

ive heard the same thing about the DA lips.
i think you have an 88-89 rear bumper too. which would make it an easier install.
but, you should look into the 90-91 rear bumpers... i think they look great without an added lip.

You can use a stock 90-91 Crx si front lip. I have the lip on the back of my crx and it looks very good. this is the only picture I have right now but I will try and snap a few more. It was not very hard to do and is a great improvement.

The 88-89 bumper has thicker molding than the 90-91. Also the 90-91 has a little built in"lip" at the bottom (if you want to call it that)
If you have a 88 or 89 that rear bumper wouldnt match the rest of your molding around your car.

88-89 bumper is shaped different I have a 88-89 lip on the front of my 91 crx and it took some work to get it to fit.
To put the rear lip on you need to put it up to your rear bumper and mark the cut out for the exhaust. When you cut the spot for the exhaust make them a little long so you can fold them around the opening so that it looks finished. You have to trim the back of the lip so that the fold the lip around easier. It is pretty easy once you get it up there. kinda hard to explain.
