hey i wanted to know what can i do.. my homegirl lost the key for her 01 prelude and she doesnt have the red "learner" key to program another key. ive called san jose n hayward hondas and both places said its gonna cost about 650.

anyone know what i can do or something cheaper.. it has an immoblizer , programming is 150 ish. the key is like 50 bucks . and they say i need the red learner key which is like 270. and then labor... any suggestions ? she really needs her car runnin again. thanks guys

 

red key comes with a new immobilizer
its like 350 i think
then you can get new keys and cut it...then program them with the red key

if you have no keys left at all (especially the black programmed keys...) then thats one of the ways to make it work

 

so if i dun hav anything... no key no red key . only solution is to pay 350 for a new learner key right... ?
