Default MY BUILD THREAD

well ive been on here for a while and never had posted any pics of my 91 crx hf. i recently traded a 86 civic hatch for the car cause the kid had no idea what the crx was and needed something that ran and drove. the kid for some reason had the hood up on the crx one day when it was rianing and water got into the plug wire holes and the car was misfireing. he thaught he blew the engine and wanted to get rid of the car. and needed somethin that ran and drive. he heard of me having the civic and asked if i wanted to trade. i said YES LETS DO IT. oh i forgot to say that i got the civic as a gift from my dad. well heres soem pics of it from wehn i got the car up until today...

Looks like a fun project. I hope you are going to change the tail lights back to stock.

Wow!! That is riced out. I bet the fender scoops make you go like 25 times faster than stock.

Its goin to be a kick *** ride when you get it looking back to normal again.
Have fun dude.

looks decent. Finish the bodywork and a nice spray job with a lil drop and some 15inch wheels and ur set. maybe a little light tint too.

AUTO ZONE...the wal-mart of carparts in my area. I dont know how they survive like 3/4 of a mile from an Advance Auto whos prices are better, service is better, and hardly any APC Ricer crap on the shelves.

thats about as low as it will go with the tokico blue struts and racing coilovers and those are 14's on it now. and thats werid cause advance auto is just around the corner from us to haha. we have way better service to. and im not just saying that cause i work there i have LOTS of people come in and tell me that and ive went over there myself and had poor service. and we also have no apc stuff on our shelves but we do have aftermarket tuner stuff tho. we actually just got a line of MSD stuff in stock which makes me kinda happy oh and to you!!!

haha, i feel like such a dumbass lol. I was just lookin at pics of cars slammed and when i looked at urs i was thinkin stock height. Lol. I didnt even notice mine is like a 4x4 (well im installing my Koni/Eibach setup now) compared to yours. I retract that lowering statement, with some 15s and the same sidewall tire that will look perfect in my book. Goodluck man!

I wish my autozone had performance ****. Advance has a little, but not enough to justify the trip there. Advance is the **** for working on the subarus though!! My autozone has a full isles of clamp on muffler tips and fart pipes, colored window tint and licenseplate frames, and even carbon fibre look shift *****. Pretty much sucks monster ****.

hahah yeah we have all that stuff to but i try to not think about that section. i walk right passed it to REAL perfrmance section like i listed above. and i dont kno why but it kinda looks like my car sits kinda high in those pics but it really doesnt. my car is at an angle maybe thats why. the front lip is about 2 or 3 inches off the ground and idk why it looks like my back bumper is like 2 feet off the ground. maybe i should find a rear lip off somethin that will fit haha

Why'd you get rid of that intake? I love the idea of an intake with a bit of engineering behind it. Oh, most of your pics don't work any more. Photobucket kinda sucks. You might want to try Picasa.
