JDM fuel rail is reversed. So keep the dizzy and swap fuel rail.

the parts are the same jdm is reversed you can either swap rails or fab a longer fuel line. theres no need to "drop" either part....

use your h23 distributor, that way you won't have to mess with the coil wiring.

wow this is a lot of work. Im just about fed up for today.

I gotta get the crank pulley off the h23 to do the tensinor conversion.
I have to wire up the whole motor

I have the crank pulley tool, but its just not working right now. We bent the damn thing. Anyone ever cut the bolt off.

After its all wired up and its converted then its ready to be dropped back in.

Ive cut the bolt off before but i would not suggest it considering that one bolt will run you 30$ at honda and good luck finding it in a junkyard, even if you find one they wont sell just that bolt. Trust me i tried!

Frankly I just want the motor to run. But I have to be patient with this. Very time consuming here. I have to get the damn timing covor off cause I sold it already. I think Im parting out my H23a1 block as well.

Just use the h23 dizzy, coil and fuel rail.. Why "fab" anything when you already have the right parts, on your old motor.....

Well I got the fuel rail converted already and the dizzy will only take me like 20 mins to do.

Will all the wires from the wireharness on the h23a1 match the h22a? Im asking this because its in my todo list for tommmorrow. Are all the wires the same except for the Vtec wires?

yeah all you have to do is wire up vtec. if your car is newer then 92 and you have a vtec engine harness you probably wont even have to do that.

Okay the car is a 92 and the Vtec harness is chopped.<TABLE WIDTH="90%" CELLSPACING=0 CELLPADDING=0 ALIGN=CENTER><TR><TD>Quote, originally posted by Rosko &raquo;</TD></TR><TR><TD CLASS="quote">yeah all you have to do is wire up vtec. if your car is newer then 92 and you have a vtec engine harness you probably wont even have to do that.</TD></TR></TABLE>

Back to swapping dizzies. Okay the h23a1 dizzy and h22a dizzy are both diffrent. The h23a1 has 5 wires plus that extra piece that plugs from the fifth wire hole into the extra piece of distrubutor. The h22a only has 4 wires, which all go to the spark plugs. I swapped dizzies and also bolted that extra piece onto the head. That will work or do I even need the extra piece of equipment from the h23a1.
