First code 8, bought new Distributor King dizzy, now code 9, HELP....

First code 8, bought new Distributor King dizzy, now code 9, HELP....
OK, the car is a 98 Civic Ex Coupe. Car started bogging and almost stalling at a stand still. The CEL came on with a code 8 which is the TDC sensor which is in the dizzy. So I go out and buy a new dizzy from Distributor King. Install the new dizzy and now it's shooting a code 9 which is the CYP sensor which is also in the dizzy. The car still bogs and so forth. I'm thinking I received a defective dizzy, but before I send it back to DK I just wanted to know if anyone has experienced this. Is there something that I'm missing or did I just get a defective dizzy. Thanks in advance.
