gsr in 91 crx
i looked in the faq... look i have 1000+ posts so i know to search... and i didn't find anything about this.
putting a gsr in a 91 crx... do i need specific axles or will the stock gsr axles work?... and is the hub size different? i know i need diff mounts... i'll be getting hasports.
i'll be getting the complete swap from HMO as shown here:
http://www.hmotorsonline.com/s...30009
what all do i need on top of what's included?
and i can use a hydro tranny with the 91 crx correct? or will i have to convert from cable?

You're basically just pounding the inner fender where the alternator will be so the pulley doesn't rub..It's really simple and you dont need to go that far, about 1/2 at the most for hasport mounts..

Yep, get out the big sledge and solve that issue easy.
SIRed is right though, this is a straight forward swap, there was a build thread in the last 4 days about it, there have been any number of guides to it.
It is not at all uncommon, and Ryan at droppedcrxsi has a guide to doing it.
So yeah, you've got some work to do on searching.

I still get kick out of it every time some one mention about this smacking bussiness. I was on top of my CRX, with the sledge harmer in my hands getting ready to make a dent to intended area, when my 9 years old son jumping up and down yelling at me "Dad, don't dammage the car". " Just take your time and fix it up dad"

I went to war on mine. I wanted to make sure it would fit the first time, so I wouldn't have to take the motor back out, then re-hammer. Refer to my build thread in sig, on page 5 I showed a pic of the alternator clearance after banging.
I used a sledge hammer, make sure you wear gloves, I got mad blisters afterwards.
