Default built h22a (smokes on cold start)

****Little History****
Alright I need some help or pointers. I have a 94 jdm h22a that has been built. L/C pistons, rods, rings, bored .20 over, Darton Sleeve, honed, balanced, built head (valve train), Skunk2 Intake Manifold, Skunk2 70mm throttle body etc.....

Now heres the problem. After breaking the motor in....everytime I would get on it, it would smoke when I hit vtec. Never smoked at idle or cold start up and it guzzled oil.
Took it back and it got a tune. Actually it put down 176whp with it bein a n/a L/C motor at the moment.
Was told that everything was ok but I might need an after-market EGR kit b/c the motor wasnt gettin rid of all the gas's quick enough and I was told that its gonna smoke until I put this after-market EGR kit on. Mind you...I have a JDM motor so Im pretty sure I thought the JDM motors dont have an EGR system.

****Problem****
When the motor is cold and I drive it, it will smoke but when the motor is finally warmed up....it wont smoke anymore. At idle it wont smoke. Only smokes when Im driving it and the motor isnt warmed up yet.
Shop told me vlave seal were ok along with the motor and the compression checked out good.

So does anyone have an idea and can send me in the right direction into fixing this?
