Default who is dumped on koni yellows and gc's? hard decision

I have a 92 civic DX hatcbhack

okay in two months ill have the money for my setup
im having a hard time deciding if i want the normal koni/gc setup from weaksauce
or if i want the koni sp3 setup/ gc from weaksauce
the price difference is so small that the price wouldnt effect my decision

ive heard that you can dump your car more with the sp3's than you can with the normal koni yellows.
my car will strictly be daily driven and sometimes a couple runs on the drag strip every now and then
so anyone got pics of them dumped on either or/ koni yellows/ gc or koni sp3's/gc...or any suggestions??

thanks

koni yellows on ground controls still had more threads on the front and rear but the tires would rub

still rode smooth though

if your going dumped pick up the top hats and reduce the risk of blowing your koni's

well thats the reason i was thinking of gettin the sp3 they have a shortened strut shaft? it will have less of a chance of blowing? but i was definately gonna just get one set of tophats for the front of the car

i just heard you can drop your car lower on the sp3's

as long as i can tuck pretty good on the normal setup ill go for that

what do you recomend
if i have the choice
the sp3's?
or just the normal koni yellows?

The ride quality is good on the PS3. plus u can always adjust it to soft or hard.

but the PS3 and GC u can go all the way down to the floor for shows. but if u wanna be slammed and have a decent ride quality then thats a great convo.

theirs also PS3S <-- I don't know much about them. might wanna get some info on them.

I just don't like how soft they are even on the stiff setting. And also my front always bottom out. For that money you can get a nice full coilover with stiffer rates.

You can customize your spring rates when you order Ground Control coilovers. You probably got the off the shelf rates or the limited edition Ground Control setup. The Koni Sport and SP3's should be able to handle up to 500lbs springs with no problems.

Most entry level full coilover setups don't allow both ride height and dampening adjustments.

kinda.

GCs are sleeves, but the combo package acts like a coilover setup

It is a coilover setup. What he meant was he wants a threaded shock coilover setup. They both work the same way.

For the price, you cannot get any better with custom spring rates, the quality of Eibach made springs and the warranty of Ground Control and Koni shocks with full adjustable springs and shocks.
