Default New Pistons, Rings and Connecting Rods

I'm upgrading my pistons, piston rings and connecting rods.

I have an '89 Civic SI, D16A6

I found this on eBay: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors...sting
What do you think?

I tried searching and couldn't find any answers on what I should be looking for, so any help is appreciated, thanks!

By upgrading I would assume that you mean for performance. If you're going to turbo the car, those are going to do the trick without a hitch. 700 USD is a decent price for a set of forged pistons, but the main thing to be concerned with if you're going to be winding the motor up to high RPM is a balanced rotating assembly. Balanced to the thousandth of an ounce. You can have a machine shop do it for you but it may cost a bit.

If you're going to build a strong bottom end I'd recommend also getting a forged or billet crank but that's not something that can be accomplished on a budget.

Good luck with your upgrade!
