Wha? I don't understand...? Which bent/broke?
Those are two different pieces of equipment.

You're a 9 day n00b, hush.
OP, I'd set the motor back down in the bay and get a new picker before continuing. Don't risk dropping that thing.

Sorry guys, I keep calling the cherry picker, jack stands. So anyway, I just spent the last hour or so cursing this damn cherry picker to hell.
I ended up buying another one. I think it broke because it wasnt put together properly on my part
I only had one support connected. But also on another note, I had my new motor sitting on it for like 2 weeks.
The problem also might be that transmission is caught on something, cause when lifting the motor out the car, the car got lifted up to, and the Jack got bent on the transimission side.
Anyone have a tip on how to get the motor and the transimission out with a lift, with ease.
And yes I am almost 100 percent positive that everything is disconnected. I followed the Helms like a doctor on his first day of open heart surgery.

I just pulled my motor without a cherry picker but I also have the whole front end disassembled. I dropped my front sub frame(?) on some jack stands and slowly lowered each jack stand using a jack until the rested nicely inside an old tire that I had. Once it was on the ground, I removed it from the cradle and my gf and I lifted it off the tire and onto a pallet. Keep in mind that the front suspension was removed, as was the transmission. As long as you are patient, and work slowly and carefully you can do it without a hoist. I would definitely put something under the motor right now to level it out so your not putting excessive strain on your mounts.
edit:Check your ac lines and make sure that you have taken off your motor mount directly from the transmission and from the chassis

best way to get the motor out is with the tilt adapter for the hoist, makes life sooo much easier, I cleared the AC lines with no problem with one of those.
Yeah Im thinking that mabey if I lower the car as close to the ground as posible with enough room to get the picker under, It will be easier to clear all that as well.
I don't know what you guys are talking about still... This thread recently changed into Boarderx192's gf holding the top spot for women in or dealing with the Prelude section of H-T.

On a more serious note, I should be paying more attention since I'm pulling my h23 soon.

I forgot that you probably have your front suspension still in the car. When I removed mine, I also removed the entire front suspension from the car. Literally everything was out so all I had to do was slide it out the side with the car jacked up. Your probably going to need to use a hoist. Only other thing I can think of is put a jack stand under your motor and remove the transmission from the motor. That can slide out under the car easy. By doing this, You will have more room on the left side to pull the motor out and it should come out a lot easier. GL
