well i figured out that the white smoke was to much oil bieng burned and mixing with the gas but now when i jumstart it it kills when i take of the jumper cables but the battery is brand new..im kinda confused does anybody know what it could be

sounds like the alternator is dead - it will run without a battery (once you get it started) but it won't run without an alternator
