yeah man, ive been having this humming noise, right after I hit vtec. and its comming from my intake manifold. but dont know what is causing the noise. I Thought it was the a/c setup that i installed on my ek. the noise always show up after i have my foot off the gas while driving for awhile or doing some spirited driving. I have searched on the forum but still no clue.

when it does happen i just tap on the gas peddle, and then itll stop.

Anyways, if anyone can help or chime in, I would be happily appreciated

does it sound like a humpback whale noise. if it is, then its normal. i had the same roblem when i was running a aem cold air on my LS motor

 

nahh, i knew that might be brought up. like cai that sounds like a BOV. No, well i hope that it is that and is nothing else. I know wat that is. like when im climbing in RPM's then yeah it;ll make that wistle bov type.

But it is a humming type of sound. if i rev it hard and let off the gas peddle. itll show up and make this humming noise, like a buzz.

just another bump in case someone else that may know see's this.
