Default Bent clutch level?

I recently took out my blown Si tranny for a DX tranny. When I swapped it I replaced the clutch (exedy stage 2) and throw out bearing. When I got it all back together I noticed I had to adjust my clutch all the way to the bottom to even get it to disengage, and the release point is 1/4" off the ground.

I know there is 2 possibilities. Either I received a faulty throw out bearing or the lever on the tranny for the clutch cable is bent. Is that even possible? Either way the tranny has to come off again. I'm just looking for someone with experience in a problem like this to help me out.

PS: Darn, the title is suppose to say lever...
