Default h22 swap

ok im considering an h22a swap for my 93 hatch. on password:jdm they have a complete swap with motor, ecu, tranny, shift cable, innovative mount kit for 92+ civic, and innovative h-series swap axles for extra. would i need anything else to drop it in? or just get that package and just swap? is there any cutting/grinding/welding or anything that makes this more difficult? just want to clear it up before i order that swap. thanks.

The only thing you might need is the shifter assy, but then again if your car is already 5spd you're ok. I know some people switch shifter boxes anyways when doing the h22 swap. I did, but if it is a complete swap the only other thing you need are the mounts and axles and a wiring harness if you want it to plug and play otherwise just use your exisiting one.

it said it came with an innovative mount kit....is that the motor mounts im guessing? and its coming with a wiring harness. and i can get the innovative axles for and extra $350. it sounds like a good priced swap. and i was really contemplating goin h or k series. but h-series are alot cheaper. lol so you think it should just drop in? no hybrid headers or intake manifolds?

What You need is Obviously the H22 and Hasport mounts to mount it, if you use a h-series tranny, you need 90-93 integra axles, Then you need the shifter assembly from a prelude which needs to be welded in place of your stock shifter assembly(you have to cut out the stockie), then the shifter cables. If you feel a lil spunky, you can get the h to b conversion which alows you you to use a b-series trans and your stock shifter assembly.

have you driven an h series?? the trannys are stiff and choppy IMO and seem to make it less fun to drive like a b or d series. good torque and power output though.

I love the cable trans feeling, it makes me all warm and fuzzy inside...

Seriously though, that choppy, stiff shifting that everybody hates > linkage IMO.

You need to cut your stock passenger side mount bracket off and have the H-series one put on...

Im not really a fan of the cable shifter, I like the solid feel of b and d series shift linkages...but im not complaining.
