Default Catback Exhaust Installation

I have done a fair bit of reading on the topic but wanted to clarify a few things before my friend and I get down to installing my Skunk2 catback. I have been reading topics of interest daily for ~6 months and figure it's time to give doing this myself a shot. The exhaust shops around here were giving me quotes of ~$110 to install it ..

Questions:
1) Will I need to do anything with the o2 sensor to avoid damaging it? I do not plan on installing a new cat at this time, so at this point I'm assuming it's not necessary, what do you guys think?

2) I'm planning on re-using the hangars that are on the car and I've read that using lithium grease is better for getting the stock exhaust off the hangars (something about deterioration of the rubber..) ? Or will WD-40 work just fine?

3) I'm fairly new at jacking up my car (except for the front end for oil changes) .. will I only need to jack the back end up? Or just the right side?

4) The kit did not come with washers. Will I need to buy locking washers? Should I use locktite on the bolts instead/in addition?

As for now, that's all I can think of. I'll check back later and clarify if needed. Sorry if my questions are noob-ish, but you gotta start somewhere, right?

Thanks in advance for your input
Chris

1. you just unscrew it and swap it over. nothing you can do to damage it. it would take some effort.
2. when i did my catback i just took the hangers off and reused them. slid them off and right back on with no lube. so i doubt its necessary but it want hurt nothing.
3. (is this a serious question.) unless you have 24's on your lude yes you will have to jack it up.
4. you dont need lock tight just use your meat grip or impact and get it as tight as you can.

i think he meant does he have to jack the whole car up (lift it off all 4 wheels) or will jacking the back 2 up + blocking the front do. I think it's a good idea to jack it up on 4 just to be sure. it'll make it a **** ton easier i'd think since you have a lot more space to work with.

Yeah, I know that I do have to jack it up, for sure. Just curious how I would do that most effectively. I (obviously) want it stable for when I'm unbolting from the cat.

thx for the input

IF you want to be extra safe, chock the front wheels when you jack up the back. You shouldnt have any probs with the instal, all very straight forward.
