Okay guys, I am planning to buy another car for winter driving and another potential project car. I was thinking something like Talon AWD Turbo (aka Eclipse in the States). I don't want another Honda/Acura, don't get me wrong Honda's the BOMB but I think it's time for something different. However, I've heard that Talons/eclipse are not that reliable. I don't want to buy a car that will break down on me every couple of months. I need your guys input on this, what do you suggest???

 

they are good cars except they have alot of gearbox failures. They are pretty damn quick to.

a friend of mine has worked on a lot of those cars and he would tell you to stay away from them. he said it seams like there is always something that has to be fixed. but when they run well they are quick....

 

seems like the recommend d GL5 gear oil the maint. is the craps on the tranny..to save the tranny u have to find the right combination of gear oil..some swear by BG..others say Redline..some recommend mixing the 2..i prefer the dearler Dimond gear oil...this is a G3 GT too
