Okay guys, I am planning to buy another car for winter driving and another potential project car. I was thinking something like Talon AWD Turbo (aka Eclipse in the States). I don't want another Honda/Acura, don't get me wrong Honda's the BOMB but I think it's time for something different. However, I've heard that Talons/eclipse are not that reliable. I don't want to buy a car that will break down on me every couple of months. I need your guys input on this, what do you suggest???

 

if you take care of anything it will last, and all cars are designed to fail, awd talons and eclipses can get into the 12s with minimal effort 1gs of course. watch out for the trannys b/c they are ****, i think it would be a good car though i wouldn't mind owning one.

 

yeah. my friend is rebuilding a 91 awd talon. those cars have ALOT of potential if u know what your doing. as for the winter. just buy some damn good tires, drive carefully and make sure the heater works.

 

DSMs have been known to have shitty reliability.
