as the title says no noise from tranny until shifted to fifth gear. while in 5th gear under no load (maintaining speed) slight whine. under accel whine is more promanait and under decel the whine is loudest. the whine sounds similar to a straight cut gear or reverse. my question is if i unintentionally put the gsr 5th gear on the counter shaft upside down. would this cause this problem. could some one please send a pic of the counter shaft fifth gear and what why is up (or farthest from the fd)
