Default Best Suspension? Details Inside

Ok, I need help deciding on what suspension. I have a pretty good idea on what I'm going to get but need imput. I have a 1990 Crx Dx that is being built for 700whp or so. I am thinking Koni yellows, Ground Control coilovers, ST rear sway bar, Full Race traction bar, Poly Bushings. Anybody have any imput on this setup? Also, what spring rate should I go on the coilovers. I want performance over confort but I don't want something that is going to be dangerous on the road...for examply, I don't need to be going down the highway and have the back tires hop off the ground due to a bump. Thanks Guys

Btw, this will be a daily driver.

Daily driven with ~700whp?

Have fun never getting past 1% throttle, and getting 10mpg, on race gas.

It's not going to be driven on race gas on the street but the car WILL be a daily driver. It will be tuned on pump gas also. Idiot, who said I'm going to be driving on race gas on the street? How about putting some thought into your post before being a douche bag. Keep this **** out of my thread.

Anyhow, I'm thinking about going with Koni Race with 550f/650r.

Ok.
A) What motor are you going with in order to make that power
B) I watched a FULLY BUILT K motor in a DC Teg, make 640whp and ~500ft/lbs on race gas, but detuned it for driving with pump.

I don't know what your financial capabilities are, but you are going to need a ******* MONSTER of a motor, with a BIG ******* turbo, which will be worthless for daily driving.

If you want 700whp daily, and nothing less, you don't know what you are getting into.

And if you are asking simple questions about a suspension to support 700whp, or even a good suspension nevermind the power, I doubt you have the mechanical ability to build said motor.

Did I say that? No, you ******* idiot. It will be tuned for race gas AND pump gas. Also, don't mind the build I have plenty of money and a very reputable shop is doing all the work I can't. Idealy, I'd be happy with 600. Keep this bullshit out of my thread.

I know what I'm going to need and money is not an issue. This is not what we are discussing here. I know what suspension to run at the track but I don't feel like running something like that on the street because it's just not safe. I'm asking for people opinions here because there is no way I could possibly know what every setup feels like.

Well there,

At least you figured it out.

You AREN'T going to be running the full 700 on the street, you are going to have a LOWER hp street tune.

Now if you said that in the first place, it would be understandable.

Okay, enough of the cursing. Can't any of you argue professionally?

The original poster needs to start being realistic. He also needs to give us some applications on how this vehicle is going to be used. "Daily driver" is not a valid application for a 700whp, 650 lbs-in CRX. I don't how you think anyone could take that seriously.

I wasn't as clear as a should of been but people were bound and determined to pick at the build not the suspension. It's going to be daily driven on pump gas with about ~400whp. I realize that for track you want a more serious suspension setup like ~1000# rear springs and somewhere around ~500-600 for the front but this obviously will not work for street. I'm just wanting opinions on what kind of suspension I should get to run on the street. I'm thinking koni sports with 450-500# all around.

Btw, you'd be suprised what people daily drive. I've seen some pretty sick setups daily driven. On nothing but race gas....mind you they are getting under 10mpg but they can afford it. There's a civic around here daily driven that runs low 10's and a 1000+whp supra. Just some examples but I also think Jason has tuned a daily driven rsx with over 750whp.

We will see. I'm putting aside 15k to make it happen. Also, I said I "think". I'm not into the k20's so I wouldn't know what they are capable of.

The best part is he wants a 700 whp CRX and he is worried about a comfortable ride.

I was actually debating whether I wanted to go with an eg hatch. There's a pretty good chance I will.
