I am new to welding. I just got my self a tig welder .I have a bmw 325 i want to put an exhaust on it the muffler i have a 304 stainless i want to put a mild steel flange on it because stainles is alot more and u cant see it because my car is so low. Will it bond?

 

I believe you will want to use 309 filler for welding 304 to mild steel.

 

Yes, use 309L and you will be fine.
