code 9 questions.

my cousins ef threw a cel code 9 he wants to know if he can drive the car with this code until he gets it fixed

I wouldn't daily drive anything with a code like that until I get it fixed.

to be honest, he can drive it.. unfortunatly i had a code 9 while i was too poor to afford a new distributor, so i had to drive it for a month till i could get enough to buy one on ebay. my car would miss in the 3500-4000 rpm range because of it, but i got a new distributor and the problem was 100% fixed.

if you can help it, drive it only minimally. I would stress that it NEEDS to be fixed, but that if he HAS to drive it, then it would be ok for short distances.
